Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy

Laparoscopic hysterectomy is a minimally invasive procedure that is done if vaginal hysterectomy is not an option. It is done using a camera and three small incisions in the abdomen: one at the belly button and two in the lower abdomen. The incisions are very small and often not visible once healed. There is less pain with this procedure than an open abdominal hysterectomy.

Includes selected screening tests. Maintains low radiation exposure.
